I’m working in a high building with with floor-to-ceiling windows. Recently, an interesting thing attracts me. A bird constanly bumped against my window every day. Look, it comes again! And now it’s nearly 3 o’clock in the afternoon. This situation lasts five days. “What a stupid bird!” I thought, “She couldn’t see the existence of the glass!”
I’m happily living in this city. There is a high building near my sleeping tree. Several days ago, a man caught my eye. He works from 8 o’clock in the moring to 7 o’clock in the afternoon. He even doesn’t have a rest at noons! So every afternoon, I bump against his window in order to draw his attention. “What a stupid man!” the bird thought, “He is unaware of enjoying the outdoor fresh air and warm sunshine!”

The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.This novel mainly wrote one old person alone in marine fishes. He fished one big fish, tied up the fish head and the upper part of the body side the boat above. But he met the shark fish, the old person causes all one's skill and the shark fish fight, the shark fish the fish flesh which could eat all eats finished also has about 800 pounds.This book promulgates the truth, not showed the person how regardless of, most feared is does not have the confidence. The confidence is just like is the automobile motor, is power which the person goes forward.I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

This week I have seen the film A LIENS IN THE ATTIC屋顶上的外星人. I think it’s an interesting film and it tells about the aliens. The main heroes are Tom and Jack. One day, Tom’s family went on holiday together and they lived in a special house, because aliens landed the attic of the house. Then aliens were preparing to conquer the world and they used a gadget to control grow ups, but they couldn’t use it to control the kids. However, it was hard to fight with the kids, and aliens were defeated by kids in the end.
I like this film because it looks like a little dream to me. When I was a little child, I wanted to be a heroine and protected our world. I also dream to make friends with aliens, they like me and I like them, we can be families. As you know, there is the One Child Policy in China, when I was a child, we felt lonely sometimes when I stayed at home alone, although I could also talk with my friends, my friends couldn’t accompany me all the time, so I often dreamed to have alien friends, they could understand me a lot, give me great encouragement and comfort when I needed them, and they could be a good audience to listen the stories I talk with them at that time. Now, I grow up, I have to face the reality, I must deal with something by myself, I forget my little dream gradually.
