Quoth the raven"Evermore"

Sisyphus once punished by God that he had to move a rock to the mountain top day after day. One midnight he met with the Phoenix. He asked wether he can flee the situation, the answer is "evermore". He tried to ask the name of the bird, also answered "evermore". he decided to commit suicide before the only witness to fulfill the meaning of life. At the end the bird lived alone, croaking"evermore"

Philosophy behind:Rationalism in ancient Greece:The theory of Demiurge: In Neo Platonism it means someone like an artisan. It is responsible to creating and maintaining the material world. In the Gnosticidm which is prior to Christianity, the Demiurge is an inferior God who created the world with all defects. There exist an ethereal God who is against evil power. This idea firstly came in the Timaeus by Plato. Jesus once said, good trees breed good fruits. Huduists、Buddhists and Gnosticists think that the world full of sorrow cannot have been created by a good God. Plato believed in the existence of world of sense. There‘s a saint and fixed being, our soul is the God lost in our bodies having lost it‘s essence. But we can regain our sanity through the power of reason. This resembles the Gnosticism.

Symbols:Sysyphus symbolizes everyone in our daily life. The Gods symbolizes the Demiurge in Greek rationalism. The Phoenix resembles the saint logos which is sent to earth to save us, or Jesus, here I used the opposite meaning. Jesus die for human-being, while Phoenix live for us. At last the bird quoth"Evermore" in loneliness, it also means that it has seen lots of such event.
