“真是太精彩了！”我情不自禁地说。到了家，我就开始津津有味地向爸爸讲起了这书里的精彩故事：
格列佛一生经历了很多的奇怪的事情，并且也到很多国家游览了一番，第一次他来到的是小人国。1699年，格列佛作为一名随船医生和威廉船长一起到南太平洋去航行。没想到的事情发生了：格列佛和船长的船被大风刮倒，遭遇了袭击，多亏格列佛被冲到了浅滩才脱离了危险，可当他醒来时，自己却动弹不得，原来他的手脚已经被左右分开，牢牢地绑在木桩上了；他的头发也被钉住，浑身上下被很多细绳子捆绑着，只能仰望天空。
