1000字英语读后感

这是我自己去年写的。简爱的读后感,因为读的是简写本,所以后面的好词好句摘抄你可以不写的。
People in the novel: the main figures
Mr Reed [Jane’s uncle]
Miss Temple [Jane’s headmistress]
Edward Rochester
Jane Eyre
Mrs Fairfax [the housekeeper]
Helen Burns [a pupil as well as a friend of Jane]
The gist of the story
Jane was brought up by her aunt Mrs Reed, who promised her husband as well as Jane’s uncle Reed to look after Jane like her own children on his death bed.But actually,Mrs Reed didn’t keep her promise, she treated Jane as a servant and all the people at Gateshead didn’t like her so she had a tragic experience of her childhood. Finally, the day that she stayed with her aunt came to the end when her aunt sent her to the Lowood school where she stayed for as long as nine years including two years as a teacher.
At the beginning of the new life,it was extremely troublesome .The first thing was that she was accused as a liar by Mr Brocklehurst, the school’sfinancial manager and after she suffered it, many students were seriously ill with typhus fever and some of them died as a result of the poor food and bad living conditions.Fortunately,Jane escaped from that.Anyway, there were still some happy things, for example, the biggest harvest is Jane learned a lot in school and became excellent. Then came a turn in her life:after Miss Temple getting married and moved away,Jane decided to change her life,so she sdvertised in a newspaper and began another new life in Thornfield Hall to work as a governess for a young girl less than ten years old.It was quite comfortable and Jane felt happy and satisfied. The first time she met Mr Rochester was a night and he fell down with the horse he rode.Jane helped him to jumped on to the horse’s back when she didn’t knowthat the person was Mr Rochester. So the next time they met in the house they talked for a long time.It is obviousl that Jane made a good impression on Mr Rochester. That night ,She also knew some information about her master from the housekeeper. Before long ,they talked for several times,in the park or somewhere else, they talked about past to each other. As Mr Rochester had trusted Jane with the story of his past life, she felt proud and learned more of his character.Mr Rochester’s kindness and goodness to Jane made her think that the moments spent with him were her most happiest and even regarded him as the best compion .It seems that Jane has lost her heart to Mr Rochester.
One night, however,Jane found that someone had plotted to kill him and she saved his life from the fire.It was that night that Mr Rochester expressed his love to Jane, sincercly. But Jane’smind was full of confusing pictures and disturbed emotions, she didn’t say anything to Mr Rochester.Everything was clear when Jane saw that Mr Rochester did seem to sdmire a beautiful elegant lady_Blanche Ingram, who played the piano excellently, sang sweetly, discussed intelligently and all the time she attracted glances from every gentleman in the room,Mr Rochester included.Especially they two seemed to get married soon.If there is not the accident happened. One day,Mr Rochester disguised as the gipsy woman and told Miss Ingram that he had onlt a little money, she and her pride mother lost interest in him.Meanwhile,he found himself loved Jane so much. Also ,Jane was such a good woman that he made an offer of marriage to her.Of course,Jane agreed. That moment she was too happy to think about anything except their bright future.
The day finally came. When they arrived the church something terrible happened.Out of people’s anticipation,Mr Rochester had married for fifteen years long and his wife whoes family had madness ran in was in his house at Thornfield Hall.Jane didn’t know until that moment. She thought her hopes were all dead and her future was empty. After a sharp struggle in her mind ,she decided to leave Mr Rochester to begin a totle new life although she loved him so much.
Then she began her life at Moor House, with two girls Diana and Mary Rivers and their brother St John .They got along well with each other.Time flies. To everyone’s surprise, they found that they four were cousins by chance ,all of them were very happy.Jane inherited a fortune from her another uncle John and she became rich .After her time spent with John as a teacher in a poor village, she went back to Whitcross and returned to Thornfield. But everything was wrong, she found that the house caught a fire and was lay in ruins now. What’s worse,Mr Rochester was badly injured in the fire, losing a hand and the sight of both eyes in order to help his wife escaoe.
In this condition, she stayed with Mr Rochester and took care of him, finally, they got married.
MY THOUGHTS
In fact, Jane is a poor girl, without parents and fortune. What makes things worse is that she isn’t beautiful, and the strong characters she has makes she loses the only charming on her because she always has a strong will.Certenily, she met with various ills of life.Although she has a law social position she never feels herself inferior. In her opinion, she is the only person who can decide her own destiny. She does do a good job.
Believe it or not, I think that nobady is perfect, we should accept our shortcomings instead of being self_absed.The important thing in life is to have a great desure to improve ourselves and the determination to do it.Just do it like Jane.Everyman is the master of his future as the saying goes where there is a will, there is a way.
I also want to say something about Mr Rochester.According to the description in the novel,he is not handsome but has a great heart. He has the courage to purse his true love and when he realized he fell in love with Jane,he finally won her heart after several episodes. But as far as I’m concerned I don’t know when he fell in love with her.I just doubt whether Mr Rochester loves Jane as much as Jane likes him because I only see Jane do so many things for him.It doesn’t repays Jane’s labour well,I think. However, maybe they don’t care.
1. GOOD SENTENCE
2. She looked straight in front of her and her face was as cold and hard as marble.----The writer descripes Jane’s face as a marble,so it shows that Miss Temple didn’t like the manager, not at all.She was brave enough to do it and bears all responsibility.
3. But life has been a struggle for me, and I’ve become as hard and tough as a rubber ball.I only have a little goodness left inside.
4. I can prove that you’re cold, and ill and a fool. She said,”Listen, you are cold, because you are alone. You’re ill because you lack love. And you’re a fool because love is near you and you can’t take a step to reach it.---Here it uses three sentences with the same:you are…becayse…/.It emphasizes that the speaker knows Jane well or maybe the writer tells Jane’s feeling in this way.
5. Do you think I can watch another woman become your bride? Do you think I’m a machine without feelinfs?Do you think, because I’m small and poor and plain, that I have as much soul and heart as you.It is my spirit that speaks to your spirit. We are equal in the sight of God.---I just like these sentences,Jane speaks loudly to Mr Rochester and lets him know her feeling. The most important thing is that she never gives up…

In December, I read the British writer Jonathan; Swift's "Gulliver's Travels", the novel spicy Satires and Humors, quirky imagination and exaggeration, describes the passion for sailing adventure Gulliver, four degrees travel around the world, has experienced large and small, thrilling and interesting adventure. Travels small one country, a country with Guangguai adult bizarre story fascinated me, however, impressed me most is that in 1710 Gulliver rafting in North America, Qiao-hui's visit to the uninhabited island on from country to country, met with kindness, honesty and friendship of the United States and Germany-hui because of. The language of the Hui from country to country there is no "lying" and "deceit" This kind of words, people are more do not understand its meaning. They do not understand what is meant by "suspect" and what is a "no confidence" in their country where everything is real, and transparent. Gulliver in the Hui from country to country spent some good time, he fully integrate into the community, so in Yehuda and the metaphor of humanity when dealing in sharp contrast, because they are always viewed with suspicion by his honesty made him feel lost, to the humans with revulsion. I am very envious of the text of the protagonist had the honor to go to Hui from country to country, Hui from country to country is what we pursue and the ideal situation, where you need not worry about anyone else speak the truth or falsity, but in the real world, there are too many we do not want to see what often happens: Some people use rhetoric cheat someone else's hard-earned money, some trafficking of children to reap huge profits, some even to abandon their own personal money to the parents. No wonder our teachers, elders childhood education, we must be vigilant and not cheated. We advocate with the help of others, care for others is very difficult to unity. When I met people who have difficulties, we must lend a helping hand, I hesitated; when someone to set me free, I was afraid. All these make my heart feel the pain, contradictions, and know what to do. Not only impeded me to "love" other people, but also missed out other people's "love" in it not a sad thing do? I do not know the United States, the eighteenth century Whig, Tory parties romance, intimate relationships, of course, there can be no experience of Swift's novels of the controversy to eat eggs which should first knock on the head of the high and low heels and other "principles" the problem "high-heeled party" and "low-heeled party" beauty. I Cuoguai Swift, I have a tolerant heart. Later, Swift has gradually become understandable, and gave me the feeling that he was righteous. He ironically tells the characteristics of the then English: "greed, the party struggles, hypocrisy, no letters, brutal, angry, crazy, resentment, jealousy, lust, sinister and ambitions." He sarcastically describes the reversal of the bizarre phenomenon of human-animal: horse become a rational vector, while the others into a dirty, smelly, urine dashing, greed, under extremely difficult and animals, such as Yehuda. He discusses the human nature, that is willing to be enslaved by money, not extravagance and waste that is insatiable. After reading "Gulliver's Travels", we must look at ourselves, our bodies have no such illness, Liegen's shadow. There is a saying, I think that comment very classic: the exaggerated rendering times angry, absurd denounced by the drawbacks of the times; in hate and pessimism behind should be a bitter feelings of Anxiety. Did not expect that in those plain as if running account is simply a big Journey contains the vernacular so profound connotations. I look forward to the day when our society, like Hui from country to country, the children's eyes are no longer in doubt, education and the reality is unified. I would like to do this effort, I hope you join me, starting with ourselves, from starting now, so that this society a little more sincere and less hypocritical.

My Call of the Wild
------ Enlightenment of The Call of the Wild
" He sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack." (Chapter VII The Sounding of the Wild) When the last sentence vanished from my eyes, I can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning. Wild, is no longer a symbol of the law of jungle but a headspring where streams out love, passion, bravery, loyalty, friendship, venture, competition and tolerance all these virtues can easily be found in the Call of the Wild.
Jack London (1876-1916) is a worldwide renowned novelist. His stories successfully reflect the contradictory views of man’s nature and destiny in and against the wild, and his "fight to survive" notion has gained him and his works timeless popularity, particularly, the Call of the Wild.
It tells a story of a gigantic dog, named Buck, who is stolen from a rich and comfortable home and forced to learn to survive as an Alaskan sled dog. Buck, at first, is too savage for the company of man until he coincidently encounters his beloved master-kindhearted John Thornton. Finally, John’s incidental death breaks Buck’s last tie to the man and drives him into his long-desired wild with his pack. In the story, Buck and John simply adopt themselves to answer the call of the wild. When it comes to Buck’s mind that one day he will eventually leave John- his master, all he wants to do is just to help him finish the gold-rush-trip. He "from then on, night and day, never put a halt, in desperation, he burst into long stretch of flight, did not to stay him (John)…" (Chapter VII The Sounding of The Wild) Buck wished to remember John’s image forever, he "for two days and nights never left camp, never let Thornton out of his sight. He followed him about at his work, watched him while saw him into blankets at night and out of them in the morning…" (Chapter VII) When I read these words I just could not hold my tears bursting. Can a real man devote himself to loyalty and friendship in such a way? On the other hand, John Thornton is not only a dog-lover but also a brave and venturous man. He is so straightforward and simple that makes him an accommodating man. Once he firmly roots a goal into his heart, it seems that nothing could prevent him from accomplishing it except death. I do not know whether the persistence is the most vital element to make a man successful, but whatI know is that you are not far away from success once you occupy it.
It is Jack London who plunges me into the animated wild from the hustle-and-bustle and from desperate city. There, I merely cannot deny the attraction of Buck’s bark, which enlightens me to pursue another lost half of the nature in mankind, and to dig out a true meaning of life. Dare we imagine that London intentionally employs Buck to set us a model with perfect characters (count barbarity out)? The answer is affirmed. We, as animals, are from the wild but shedding off more and more wild signs, which demonstrate us as the "uncivilized".However, who can fully guarantee that we have not overlooked some essential wild-endowed virtues? Especially, nowadays, it seems more crucial for us to stop looking at the post-industrialized world and to ponder for a while. When cheats, betrayals, lies, lusts and crimes stuff a materialized society, whether London uses this novel to help himself escape the reality or warn the earthy people, to us, modern man, is all the same. It appears horrible that in modern society many people are enthusiastically talking about how to build up "special relations" to the authority, deceiving and lying to each other. To them life is a mask-wearing process rather than a hard work. Every time, you browse WebPages, scandals in politics, business, the entertainment circle and even on campus crowd into your eyes. Oh, what is the essence of human beings? What is the civilization to us? Do we need to look back at where we came from? Is it good or bad for us to speak out what we think and to do what the consciences demand us to? Are we wasting talents given by the mighty nature? Be an honest, straightforward, warmhearted, emotional and responsible man or be a shrewd, cold hearted and astute hypocrite? While embracing the "civilized" rubbish, we are losing those good virtues, which are the calls of the wild. Once we lose them, we are to lose ourselves, and we will get nowhere. I wish this dreadful thought is totally a fallacy, but, now, it is chilling me hard. One day when I happen to stand on the top of a grand mountain to observe a boundless prairie enveloped by the sapphire firmament and combed by gusts of the rhythmical west wind, a morning sun sprinkles me her warmth and brilliance in a graceful way, however, at that moment, I am afraid that I cannot appreciate these beauties, I am a lost " civilized man" then
Please, please do not let come true while we are still able to answer the call of the wild.

《小王子》的英文读后感。1000词

Sometimes we choose life, but this life belongs to others. If we once did it,we would be terrible grown-ups——mixing everything up together, confusing everything, and all day just say that“I’m busy with matters of consequence. ” I don’t want to be that kind of person! Why not choose life of my own?
Every time I’m reading the story, the idea becomes more and more strong. Nothing is meaningful unless you put your love in it.
The little prince lives in the planet B-612 that isn’t any larger than a house. His life is simply with joy. One day,a beautiful angel was born among the simple flower that had only one rings of petals. She was totally a miracle at the sunrise. To the little prince, she was a very complex creature. He couldn’t help falling in love with the flower. But,as he said,he was too young to know how to love her. She always pretended to be proud to conceal her love. Then he went away from his planet to search for something he needed. She didn’t blame him or urge him to stay. Actually she wanted him to be happy. So she chose not to cry and let him go.
During his trip on the earth,he met the fox. At that time, the little prince was looking for men. But the fox beg of him to tame her because she used to live a monotonous life and wanted to have a friend. So,since then, the little prince sat a little closer to her day by day. Thus, the little prince tamed the fox.
But the departure was coming. Hadn’t it helped her in any way?Yeah,it did help her. To each other, they had been unique in the world instead of other thousands of ordinary little boys and foxes! And to the fox,she owned the color of the Wheatfield to remind her of the happiness with the little prince.
Everything changed from the very beginning. And at last, the fox told the little prince her secret:
“It’s only with one’s heart that one can see clearly.
What is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Then he understood,it was the time he spent on his flower which made his flower so important.
We may be one of these characters in the book. The flower, the fox,or the little prince. I mean that LOVE and DEPARTURE,MISUNDERSTANDING and SUDDENLY REALIZING are equally valuable.
When loving someone,we should be brave enough. Try to make him happy even if so many tears have been added up to a deep sea.
When someone tames you,the world will be a fantastic wonderland. All other people are just alike, but only he is so unique. Because of those moments of truth, you can see the spirit in this love. Nothing can ever replace it.
It’s a story about life and love. Furthermore, the little prince makes me understand the sweetness in sadness
